Lucas moved from Zurich to Cairo eight years ago and now maps the city on foot, from the Coptic churches of Old Cairo to the artisan workshops of Al-Muizz Street. He builds long-weekend itineraries pairing Giza and the Egyptian Museum with quieter finds in Islamic Cairo and Garden City.
